Kollam: Reinforcing its commitment to compassionate healthcare, the Joyalukkas Foundation distributed ₹3 crore to support 1,500 cancer patients under its "Orumikkam Prathyaashaykkaay" initiative. In Kollam district alone, ₹30 lakh was provided to 150 beneficiaries. The program was inaugurated by Shri N. K. Premachandran, Member of Parliament, and presided over by Shri M. K. Hafees, Mayor of Kollam Corporation. Mr Ribin Paul, Senior Officer of the Foundation, delivered the welcome address, while Mr Mahesh M.J., Regional Manager, Jolly Silks, proposed the vote of thanks. The event featured goodwill messages from distinguished dignitaries, including Bishop Dr Paul Antony Mullassery, Smt. B. Jayanthi, Dr Sreeja A.L., and Shri Kuruvila Joseph, and was attended by community leaders, partners, and beneficiaries.
